Why I'm standing

I would like to promote a safe, prosperous and successful New Zealand where there are diverse opportunities for New Zealanders to reach their personal goals and dreams. I joined the National Party to seek election as the MP for Hamilton West and to help drive this vision for New Zealand.

About me

I have a set of skills and experiences in Hamilton, New Zealand and overseas – rural whānau based upbringing, commitment to educational success, professional/legal services, property investment, SMEs and charitable activities, agribusiness and church-based governance roles, bilingualism, and a heart for people and communities – that can positively contribute to the lives of Hamiltonians and New Zealanders, and the natural environment.

My priorities
  1. Rebuild the economy to reduce the cost of living. Tackle inflation, give tax relief, support whānau.
  2. Restore law and order. Back police, address youth offending, have real consequences for crime.
  3. Improve healthcare and education – increase workforce, support cancer patients, teach basics.
