Why I'm standing

I am standing because I want my grandchildren's children to live in a thriving community and planet. I have all the information we need that Mangere, Aotearoa and the planet are facing a crisis created by our current systems. However, we lack the political motivation to change and continue to put those with before the rest. I believe I have the clarity and the passion to bring about change for a common good.

About me

I have lived, worked and played in Mangere for over 30 years. My connections with the people and the place run deep. I have been, and continue to be, a voice for the Mangere that is left behind and outside the lived experience of most of Aotearoa. I have the training, the analysis and the experience to make a difference for Mangere.

My priorities
  1. Recognise and treat Mangere with respect as a collective of dynamic thriving communities.
  2. Regenerate the natural resources of Mangere so that the land and people will thrive.
  3. Engage the many voices of Mangere to regenerate their intergeneration wisdom and well-being.
