Why I'm standing

I believe this election is the most pivotal in a decade for action on climate change and equality. Only the Greens will take action at the pace and scale needed. This election, I am asking for your party vote first and foremost - only a party vote for the Greens will elect more Green MPs and ensure bold climate action, protection of nature and communities where everyone has enough to live a good life.

About me

This election, I am asking Nelson voters to party vote Green. However, I have been a featured speaker on the issues of sustainable transport, electric vehicles and converting cities to bike friendly transport models. I have also served on the Auckland Councils' transport futures committee, on the board of the Sustainable Business Network, as a transport consultant to Nextgen, and on the leadership group of the Climate Forum in Nelson.

My priorities
  1. Build flood resilience, including climate-friendly transport and green spaces for people and nature.
  2. Provide grants and loans to enable homes to replace gas with electric and install solar panels.
  3. Introduce the NZ dental service: free primary dental for all by 2024 and specialist care by 2025.
