Why I'm standing

I am notivated by intergenerational equity – generations to come can have clean water, air, and better natural and built environments to raise families and build communities in. We also all deserve to have enough to pay the bills and meet unexpected costs. A party vote for the Greens is a vote to restore nature, take bold climate action, future-proof our towns and cities, accelerate sustainable transport, and ensure everyone has enough to live well.

About me

I have experience in, and knowledge of, the building industry and am a social worker. I am an involved father of three young adults of Samoan descent and have a strong appreciation for celebrating diversity and being culturally responsive at work and home. This election, I am asking Northcote voters to party vote Green. Only a party vote for the Greens will elect more Green MPs for the action our communities need for people and the planet.

My priorities
  1. Build flood resilience, including climate-friendly transport and green spaces for people and nature.
  2. Provide grants and loans to enable homes to replace gas for electric and install solar panels.
  3. Introduce the NZ dental service: free primary dental for all by 2024 and specialist care by 2025.
