Why I'm standing

After having been a police officer for 49 years, dealing largely with society's failure and problems, I want to apply the skills and knowledge I have to ensuring we recognise the need to give every New Zealander the opportunity to fully participate in society. I also want to use the advocacy skills I developed as Police Association President to ensure Ōhariu residents receive the best representation possible.

About me

I first lived in Ōhariu in the 1970s and have lived here in six different addresses on and off since. I policed in the area and played in sports teams here. I live here now.

My priorities
  1. Ensure development of the Johnsonville shopping mall proceeds.
  2. Ensure house building in Ōhariu and New Zealand accelerates to meet the needs of New Zealanders.
  3. Ensure Ōhariu and all of Welington has the necessary secure infrastructure to grow.
