Why I'm standing

I believe New Zealand is the greatest and most beautiful country in the world. However, our general electorate is one of the most deprived in New Zealand where housing, safety in our communities and the necessities of life are major issues. I believe my leadership can address and bring solutions to advance and raise our local communities.

About me

I have a real connection to our individual, unique communities. I was raised in state housing in Otara, I lived in an Oranga Tamariki residence in Papaptoetoe and lived, worked in both Otahuhu and Panmure. My 20 years of service at a grassroots level with supporting men, families and young people has given me lived experience of what realities our electorate families face.

My priorities
  1. Advocate for and implement family friendly policies to empower families including pathways for homeownership.
  2. Help families with the cost of living by cutting and reprioritising wasteful government spending.
  3. Address law and order and set up a ministry for men to address the root issues in our communities.
