Why I'm standing

Auckland Central isn't just an electorate to me; it's where my story took shape. Arriving in NZ on my own at 14, this community welcomed and supported me, helping turn challenges into opportunities. My father's legacy as a community leader taught me the value of service and gratitude. This electorate has been my foundation, and it's my turn to give back and to help make Auckland Central the best place to live and work.

About me

I've been moulded by Auckland Central's spirit and steered companies like Canva from infancy to success. This local-heart, global-experience approach defines me. If elected, I'll apply my experience and community knowledge to tackle Auckland's challenges; ensuring we're both locally attuned and globally competitive. I'm a problem solver who connects with all walks of life and loves our community. I'll do what it takes to make this a hub of innovation, sustainable growth and community spirit.

My priorities
  1. Restore our community's safety. Crime's up, public trust is down. I pledge quick, effective change.
  2. Fix the cost of living – create more jobs with better pay instead of wasteful government spending.
  3. Get Auckland Central moving again by working with AT, Fullers, and council on a great transport experience.
