Why I'm standing

Having worked in the charitable sector for 25 years I'm eager to advocate for the front line services that make such a difference in people's lives. This includes local schools, hence why I'd love to champion their role in serving our communities. Ko te take tuatoru, ko tõku tino wawata, kia tautokona te puanga o te reo Māori me õna tikanga. Ki a au, koinei te tūāpapa o tõ tātou anamata kia kotahi tātou katoa.

About me

I've lived, worked and raised a family in Maungakiekie for 25 years. After starting my career as a chartered accountant in London I came to Auckland to give one year of service to a charity. That ruined me for life - in the best way. Since then I've started, or grown, 12 charities and am driven by a passion to see every family and every person flourishing in their relationships, their work and their identity.

My priorities
  1. Restore law and order. It's tragic to see the weekly attacks on our businesses - it has to change.
  2. Rebuild the economy to reduce the cost of living. Pressure on families is damaging relationships.
  3. Improve the quality of education. Teachers and schools literally shape our future.
