Why I'm standing

I live locally and love Maungakiekie. This is my home and my community. As the local MP, I have supported many individuals facing different issues and have worked alongside local advocates to deliver positive outcomes for our communities. I have also supported local businesses, community organisations and schools. I am standing again because I want to keep working for you, your family and our community. I offer support for today, building for tomorrow.

About me

I am an experienced and effective MP – I know the local issues and I know how parliament works. I spent most of my work life before parliament advocating for people whose voices are often unheard by decision makers – I know how to identify the issues and to effect change. I have delivered for our local communities and I want to keep doing that. I am honest, hard working and love my community.

My priorities
  1. Support Maungakiekie families and communities to access initiatives to reduce the cost of living.
  2. Continue to support local schools, businesses and community organisations to thrive.
  3. Continue to advocate for measures that will prevent crime and improve community safety locally.
