Why I'm standing
I have lost faith in politicians and so decided to put my hand up to do the job myself.
About me
I am a barrister with a Masters in Law, with years of global experience in energy and infrastructure, and a Masters in Climate Change Science and Policy and an Expert Reviewer for the IPCC. I'm used to championing for constituents in my prior role as a Wellington City Councillor. I am well known as an evidenced based decision-maker who's able to collaborate across the political spectrum.
My priorities
- Address the cost of living. Inflation is eroding wages and enhancing poverty and hardship.
- Halt the increase in crime because we deserve to feel safe in our homes and workplaces.
- Define what the 'principles' of the Te Tiriti are, providing a basis to unite the nation.
