Why I'm standing

I have lived in the Ōtaki Electorate for over 40 years. This is my home. I want everyone in the Ōtaki Electorate and Aotearoa New Zealand to be able to live their best lives. I believe the only way that will continue to happen is with a Labour government.

About me

I've been a strong, effective local MP, delivering on big issues. Secured Otaki to Levin expressway. Secured a regular train service connecting us to Wellington and Palmerston that will go up to four times a day. Supported the delivery of Labours investment of $11.8 million Lake Horowhenua and $8.5 million Waikanae River restorations. In the next term I will see these programmes through to fruition and continue to work hard for the Ōtaki electorate.

My priorities
  1. To see the projects started through: Ōtaki-Levin expressway; a regular train; Lake Horowhenua clean up.
  2. Get reliable buses especially where we don't have any in the northern part of our electorate.
  3. Support houses being built in the Ōtaki electorate. Labour have built more houses than any other government.
