Rotorua electorate

Rotorua is currently held by National's Todd McClay, who won by a narrow margin of 825 – one of the smallest margins in the country. In 2020, Labour won the greatest share of party votes in Rotorua – 46% to National's 28%. With the exception of the three terms of the fifth Labour government, the seat has been held by a National MP since 1960.
