Why I'm standing
As an immigrant to Aotearoa, this is an act of service to my adoptive country, like learning te reo Māori, and upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi. I share the Green Party's vision of an Aotearoa where the bush is alive with birdsong and everyone has enough to live a good life.
About me
I have a diplomatic personality, so I tend to find common ground and get along with everyone. I've worked in a wide range of industries from hospitality to agriculture, retail and the trades. I'm determined to help Aotearoa navigate a just transition to a low-carbon economy, a transformation to a written constitution, and a rebalancing of wealth so that everyone can have enough to live a good life.
My priorities
- Ensure an equitable and climate resilient recovery from Cyclone Gabrielle.
- Connect healthy affordable housing in liveable urban centres with modern public transit.
- Restore the health and mana of our rivers, aquifers and other waterways.
