Why I'm standing
I have a heart and passion for Māori, to see our people live in a nation that is blessed and to see them do well. Standing with Vision NZ I believe we can see Waiariki truly thrive and flourish.
About me
For over 38 years I have been rooted in the Waiariki region; a recognised educator and community advocate, 20 years teaching experience in kura Māori and 17 years hands on experience assisting the Waiariki community.
My priorities
- Empower the nuclear family to thrive and prosper.
- Ensure quality education and training opportunities for all young people in Waiariki.
- Address urgent needs, eg homelessness, within Waiariki region.
