Why I'm standing

Over the last three years, Te Pāti Māori has been able to challenge the system, advocate for te Waiariki and hold the Government accountable to te iwi Māori. There is plenty of mahi still to be done, including getting our whānau out of poverty, housed, educated and healthy so that our whānau are thriving. Let's ensure our unapologetic voice is enduring, heard and valued in parliament as we build towards our Aotearoa Hou.

About me

My grassroots upbringing and connection to the many iwi across te Waiariki allows me to be a staunch advocate for te iwi Māori. Not only have we challenged the system, but we have changed it and applied pressure on the government holding them accountable to the many whānau back home. Our party has been unapologetic when it comes to it's role and we must continue that with your support.

My priorities
  1. Immediately address the poverty crisis by reviewing our tax system and redistributing wealth.
  2. Remove GST off all kai to put more money back in the pockets of whānau to feed their babies.
  3. Continue to be unapologetic when upholding the true intent of te Tiriti o Waitangi.
