Why I'm standing

I love the Waitaki community and believe it has the potential to lead the way for New Zealand. Waitaki needs a strong local and present voice to unlock this potential. I can be that voice. So together, we can build a stronger Waitaki. I will work towards ensuring our towns are looked after as much as our cities, and that we have equitable access to healthcare, education, and housing.

About me

I love our people, I know our people and I have fought for our people. During my time working for local government, I have advocated for our most vulnerable, ensuring we have adequate and timely access to mental health services, healthcare & community consultation. Going forward, we need a representative with the political courage to champion the needs of our community. I can be that champion for the people of Waitaki.

My priorities
  1. Advocate for timely and accessible healthcare services.
  2. Unlock and boost housing availability & affordability.
  3. Tackle climate change and the education needed.
