Why I'm standing

I have been the National MP in Dunedin for the past 15 years and seek to continue that work as the MP for the Dunedin electorate.

About me

My track record of service is extensive. Dunedin born and raised, I have lived almost all my life here and wish to continue that service, particularly in ensuring we get the new hospital the south deserves.

My priorities
  1. Ensure the new Dunedin Hospital is built properly and more quickly.
  2. Restore financial and academic sustainability for the University of Otago.
  3. Develop options for an inland port to remove truck congestion through the city.
