Why I'm standing

I want a country where everyone is truly equal, and where each person is truly valued as they are. I think we do that by having great health, welfare, education and housing, so everyone feels secure. And through strong labour laws, and through recognising and celebrating diversity. I'm standing for parliament to ensure we have these good things for all people living in New Zealand.

About me

During my six years as the MP for New Lynn, I've worked on all sorts of issues for people, from housing to immigration to the environment. It means I'm deeply connected to the area through my work, as well as through living here. I'm also a tax expert so I bring that knowledge to my role in Wellington.

My priorities
  1. Help with the recovery from the Auckland Anniversary weekend floods.
  2. Get more social housing in our area.
  3. Advocate for the Waitakere Ranges and our native trees and wildlife.
