Why I'm standing

I love New Zealand, our people, our culture and have been saddened to see such divisiveness emerge in recent years. I am a born and bred farm girl and initially went to parliament to represent our agri sector. Seeing how tough things are for all New Zealanders at the moment makes me want to do everything I can to get our great country back on track.

About me

I have worked really hard during my first term as an MP to advocate for – and make impactful change – to the lives of the people of Selwyn. We are the fastest growing district in NZ and future governments need to invest in our roads, schools, connectivity and healthcare to meet this growth. My job is to be a strong voice for our region to ensure the investment we deserve.

My priorities
  1. Lobby the next government to begin construction work to four-lane SH1from Rolleston to Ashburton.
  2. Advocate to telcos to build infrastructure and improve connectivity services across Selwyn.
  3. Work with local social service providers and NGOs to find a local facility for them to work from.
