Why I'm standing

I've always stood up for what I believe in, including sharing my story in Breaking Good to help others overcome adversity. right now is a critical time for kiwis. I'm putting my hand up to serve and represent you, and every person in this beautiful country. I may not enter a boxing ring again... but I'm getting in the ring here and I'm prepared to fight for the people and future of Aotearoa New Zealand.

About me

I grew up in Christchurch, I'm dedicated to supporting effective prisoner rehabilitation work, breaking the cycle of reoffending, and investing in youth organizations to change intergenerational statistics around crime, poverty, and low educational attainment among at-risk kiwi kids. My passion for social justice and creating safer communities is one area of expertise I live and breath. I love the heart of NewZeal's mission to champion causes such as community development, social equity, and education.

My priorities
  1. Advocate for safe communities, breaking the cycle of crime & young people discovering their purpose.
  2. Simplify provisional tax for small to medium business owners, for the good of all New Zealanders.
  3. Reduce home loan deposits from 5% to 2.5% to enable first home buyers to have stable, secure housing.
