Banks Peninsula electorate

Banks Peninsula is currently held by Labour's Tracey McLellan, who won safely with a margin of 13,156. In 2020, Labour won the greatest share of party votes in Banks Peninsula – 50% to National's 21%. The electorate existed from 1996 to 2008, and was recreated in the 2019/2020 electorate redistribution. It has generally been held by Labour MPs.

Passionate in promoting animal right issues. Raising climate change issues. Fostering meaningful race relations and basic human needs. For instance, adequate food and shelter for all. Affordable housing and health care needs. Free dental care for all kiwis. Safeguarding the interests of all minority groups, eliminating gender bias. Fighting for pay equality. Focusing on law and order issues.

I have lived in this community for about 35 years. I know a lot of people from various walks of life and ethnic backgrounds. Relate and interact very well with them at both social and business level.

My priorities
  1. Advocate for animal rights. Fighting for animal abuse, harm, cruelty and animal slaughter.
  2. Promote sustainability, climate change issues, human and animal rights issues.
  3. Aspire to build a fair, just and an equitable society. Forging better race relations.
