Why I'm standing

I am proud to have called Christchurch East my home for past 20 years. This is where I choose to live and raise my family. The cost of living crisis is hurting so many in our community like myself. Christchurch East feels forgotten about. I want to see real change by giving a voice to our community, raising awareness of our issues, supporting residents and local businesses, and strongly advocating for our people.

About me

I am a loving father and husband, a devoted and passionate teacher. I have been an active part in our community for 20 years; from teaching at Aranui High School to coaching junior rugby and joining local committees. I bring leadership, local knowledge and a passion for delivering for people. I don't just teach; I mentor, I nuture, I listen, and I unite. It is only together that we can make a real change.

My priorities
  1. Rebuild the economy to reduce the cost of living by creating jobs, higher incomes & lowering tax.
  2. Restore law and order with tougher sentences, focusing on youth offenders and better victim support.
  3. Improve our schools and healthcare. Teaching our kids the basics, more doctors and targeted funding.
