Why I'm standing

I believe in supporting communities so we can work together, as a strong local MP and loud voice for Christchurch East in Wellington. When times are tough, Kiwis need a government that provides stability and certainty, one that's on their side and in it for them – that's what Labour and Chris Hipkins offer. I am committed to working with you so we can build a better, smarter and safer future for Christchurch East together.

About me

My professional career has involved producing children's TV shows like What Now, Fanimals and Brain Busters. My television industry experience has given me the skills to organise and collaborate with a diverse mix of people (and animals). I have solid governance experience from my time as an elected member on a Community Board. I can make things happen in the real world as well as being a strong representative and advocate for our community in governance.

My priorities
  1. Ensure we have warm, dry, affordable homes across Christchurch East and are building communities.
  2. Invest in local schools, back our teachers and give our children a world class education.
  3. Work with Police, volunteer groups and the wider community to keep each other safe and supported.
